Should i stop my son from playing with girl things?
I have two kids a girl who is four and a boy who will be 2 in March. Since my daughter started playing with toys she always like playing with cars and trains and that of course never bothered my husband. As for my son though he likes to play with cars and trains but seems to play with my daughters doll house and dress up clothes more. He will refuse to wear the police uniform or fire one but is always putting on the princess slippers and dresses. I honestly don’t care what they play with and i do not think it means anything but my husband thinks that he should only play with boy stuff i try encouraging it but i will not force my son to play with something and will not take a doll out of his hand. What do you think am i right or is my husband? Also isn’t it funny how a girl can wear boy stuff, play with boy toys and it is normal but if boys do this something is wrong.

i have a 5 yr old daughter and 3 1/2 yr old son.. he used to play with his sisters things.. he looks up to his sister so he wants to do things she does… this is completely normal!! He now brings his “dudes” into her dollhouse. however if he wants you to buy him a girl toy i wouldnt… but if his sisters are already there then who cares.. i bought my son some of the boy bratz… he liked it at first now he says they are girl toys lol its a stage
